Eleanor Nursing & Social Care is one of seven service providers who has won a new contract to deliver homecare services to residents in the Hounslow area, on behalf of the council in partnership with the Hounslow Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
The procurement for the new Hounslow Homecare contract service will deliver home care to 1500 service users across the borough and was awarded to Eleanor, in partnership with six other care providers: Nation Care, Quality Caring Ltd, TC Care Ltd, Westminster Homecare Ltd, Care Outlook Ltd and Healthvision UK.
The contract signing event took place at the Hounslow Professional Development Centre (PDC), on Wednesday 11 July and was attended by council staff, Councillor Candice Atterton, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health and the Mayor of Hounslow, Councillor Samia Chaudhary.
The contract officially commences from 1 November  for seven years, although Eleanor will start looking after around 50 of them from next month [August].
Although the new care package will primarily deliver care to a population aged 65+, it will also cover adults (18+) with non-complex care needs, including those with physical, mental and learning disabilities, as well as people with sensory impairment needs.
Hounslow is a large and vibrant outer London borough, with a diverse population of over 270,000 people (51% from BME communities). The Hounslow population is projected to rise by 6.3% over the next five years, with the BME population expected to increase by 11.3%.

Eleanor is now looking for new carers to work in the area and offers a competitive pay rate of £10.75 an hour, rising to £11 an hour at weekends.
