Carers learn vital skills from M Power and Bridge Mental Health
A team of our carers from Eleanor Care have been shadowing skilled staff from Bridge Mental Health, a charity based in South London that offers a full range of services from 24-hour supported accommodation to floating support for people with severe mental health disorders.
They deal with a range of issues from challenging behaviour to substance abuse and by shadowing their skilled team; we hope that our team will be able to bring back useful tips for helping services users in our community.
This innovative partnership is part of our approach to engage with key stakeholders in the South London care community in order to share skills and resources to maximise the services on offer to local people.
We are also working in a similar fashion with another local organisation, M Power, that delivers services to people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Our carers are shadowing their staff to learn important skills, which can benefit service users in our area.
