What our staff says
I joined Eleanor 7 years ago (this October). I initially joined as a care worker and over the years have worked my way up to doing all kinds of roles from team leader to field supervisor to care co-ordinator. I am now the senior care co-ordinator for the Bexley office.
My daily tasks are allocating carer weekly rotas and dealing with queries, whether it be from clients, their families and social workers, as well as liaising with hospital teams.
I think the best part of my job is knowing that I am helping elderly people stay in their own homes and be able to live their lives as independently as possible.
I love my job and enjoy being part of such a hard working team.
Lisa Snapes, senior care co-ordinator (Bexley)
‘I visited my client Mrs Vozella with an interpreter, as she doesn’t speak English. Through the interpreter Mrs Vozzella was able to express her thanks to her carers, Maria (who is Italian speaking) and Tracey, for looking after her so well. Maria and Tracy arrived to complete care for Mrs Vozzella whilst I was with her and I would like to say that it is very obvious that they are passionate and caring about their work and have built a trusting relationship with this lovely 94-year-old lady. Mr and Mrs Vozzella and their daughter Caterina have said that they really appreciate the work the carers are doing.
Please thank Maria, Tracy and anyone else that is involved in Mrs Vozella’s care for their hard work and commitment to her.’
‘Thank you for sending me such lovely & wonderful carers. They certainly know their job. Although I am often half asleep when my carer Jenny arrives, she is so full of life she makes me feel good for the rest of the day. I like the other carers, too – what a team. Thank you Eleanor for being there and your wonderful caring staff.’
