Eleanor Hospital Logistics was set up in 2013 when Graham Walsh and Eleanor’s CEO recognised there was a need for a more efficient logistics system within the NHS.
Using the latest technology and bespoke software, Eleanor Hospital Logistics offers a suite of modular systems and services designed to support NHS Trusts, hospitals and other healthcare providers to enhance clinical practice and care while reducing costs.
From early beginnings delivering logistics services to Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, the team rapidly expanded, providing hospital materials management support services at Bristol’s new state of the art Southmead hospital and hospital logistics consultancy at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and Liverpool school of Dentistry. On the basis of these successful contracts further new contracts were won and now the hospital delivers logistics services to two prestigious London hospital trusts (Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust), covering eight hospitals across the capital.
Since acquiring contracts at Imperial College and Royal Brompton & Harefield, the experienced senior logistics team are now set on expanding the business across the UK, as well as overseas territories.
The team’s success is down to its people. Under the helm of Business Development Manager Graham, there are three Business Operations Managers who liaise with the hospitals to ensure everything runs smoothly. On site, there is a focused and loyal team of materials management operatives as well as customer service personnel, who ensure any problems are dealt with speedily and efficiently.
