Anthony Norris has maintained a family tradition of working in the caring professions by joining Eleanor.
Although he has experience in retail management and catering, a role in child care and his parents’ careers – his father in care and his mother in teaching – led him to join Eleanor in 2011. He says: “It was always in the family and eventually I decided to follow.”
In his wide-ranging role as an administrator, a typical day can involve organising care plans, dealing with telephone enquiries, monitoring care workers and carrying out spot checks, to assist Eleanor in maintaining and further improving its high quality standards.
Anthony gets particular enjoyment from problem-solving and contact with Eleanor service users and he values the support he receives from the company. He says: “There is a good management team who believe in me.”
Now he is looking forward to the future with a company that he’s happy to say he enjoys working for.
