Hartley House Care Home is registered for 57 residents, with 51 single and 3 companion bedrooms to accommodate married couples or residents who wish to live together by choice. All the rooms are individually furnished and residents are welcome to bring in their own furniture and prized possessions. 22 rooms have en-suite showers and/or w.c.’s. The home is split into four approximately equal wings – Hardy, Camden, Sackville and Harris. This structure allows for individual care and attention to be given in small groups. There are separate lounges and dining rooms in each wing, and each has their own kitchenette. Food is delivered from the central kitchen and served in each wing.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (“CQC”) to provide personal care and accommodation, and will support all persons who because of physical or mental incapacities require help with daily living.

Hartley House has a full program of activities. Our programs are tailored to individual needs and capabilities, combined with group activities that that include as many residents as possible. Working together with staff the well being coordinators aim to offer every resident meaningful interaction. The level of interaction varies according to their needs and abilities.
