Roselands is a stunning residential home based in the picturesque village of Brede, East Sussex, primarily for elderly residents.
The large, well-maintained building has space for up to 35 residents that may require support and personal care.
There are several communal sitting areas for residents to comfortably relax in or enjoy a range of activities organised by the support team. Beautiful views of the landscaped garden and surrounding countryside can be admired from the dining room, as well as the large conservatory.
The bedrooms, many with en-suite facilities, are modern and light. Residents are always encouraged to make the rooms their own and personalise their private space. The spacious corridors are lined with artwork painted by the residents themselves and this complements the all-round homely feel of Roselands. Group activities are popular amongst the residents and many like to socialise together.
The support team at Roselands are very close, with many having worked there for a number of years. This is something that doesn’t go unnoticed by the residents, who regularly provide positive feedback about the team and their capabilities. They work closely with the residents to support them to do as much for themselves as they can so that they continue to feel confident and independent. Residents wishes are always respected and accommodated where possible, such as their preference to have a late breakfast or simply enjoy reading newspapers in a quiet area away from everyone else.
