Patient Transport

With a large fleet of specialist ambulance vehicles, we provide contract, non-emergency and high dependency transport services within the UK and abroad.

Covering thousands of support journeys per year, all our ambulances are fully equipped for many patient type requirements.

Our exceptional team of specialist trained ambulance drivers are fully trained in first aid, manual handling, oxygen therapy and suction, and to high levels of care where required. With 24-hour availability, 365 days a year, we are always able to meet demand and offer a seamless service to our customers and service-users.

Our services

Our most regular journeys include transporting patients to and from care centres, homes and hospitals. We can also provide transport for family visits, as well as patients attending social events or trips to other locations such as airports.

Our services also enable people of all mobilities to attend gatherings such as weddings, family occasions and funerals.

In addition, we support the services offered by the wider Eleanor Healthcare Group, taking service-users on days out and providing transport for those with mobility needs.

We have both private and NHS service-users across the UK and carry out crucial journeys across Europe. We ensure that all journeys, no matter how complex, are thoroughly managed; taking care of patient safety, comfort and documentation. We pride ourselves on minimising any risk to the patient, their family or their escorts.

About us

Following demand for a high-quality transport service to support the NHS and local authorities, we launched our Patient Transport Services (PTS) in 2011. Now, with a fleet of over 30 specialist ambulance vehicles, we provide non-emergency and high dependency transport services, to and from anywhere in the UK.

We can resource and mobilise all vehicles (including specialist ambulance transport) within just one hour of initial contact. It is rare that we decline a request, which is evidenced by the high number of repeat clients we have, who also often ask for specific drivers by name. Our services are regularly audited by the CQC and our clients, and we consistently score highly for our staff, their ability and our excellent transportation.
