We are hiring Care Assistants!

We are growing and we’re looking for talented individuals to strengthen our team within our Care Homes.

The team at Bluebell specialises in creating personalised engagement and support for residents with Dementia. The home operates a unique Staff Champions Programme, which helps everyone in the team to give and receive advice, share expertise, and stay up to date in the field of specialised care. The team will not only cater to your loved one’s physical needs but also learn all about your loved one and create opportunities for positive reminiscence.

Responsibilities

  • To provide support and independence and encourage residents to experience the same opportunities which are available to all members of society
  • Work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support
  • Be flexible in your approach to work
  • Have a commitment to equality and diversity
  • Take a positive approach and understanding to support people with learning disabilities

Experience / Skills

  • No experience is required, we provide full and extensive training
  • It is essential that you are able to work to a rota and preferably you will have a driving licence
  • We are looking for passionate people with a can-do attitude who are driven by the desire to make a difference
  • Have the ability to recognise the wishes and needs of vulnerable adults
  • Communicate effectively using different methods according to peoples needs
  • Work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday working
  • You must have the right to work in the UK and provide legal documents when starting
