It is now compulsory for Home Care staff to wear your visor when:

1. Offering personal care.
2. When within 2 metres of your service user.

All PPE must be worn once you have arrived at the service users front door. Identically, all PPE should also be removed and disposed of correctly before leaving the property. The visor can only be reused if not damaged, soiled and is both cleaned and disinfected after every use.
