Stage 1 – Hospital Set Up – Applying GS1 Scan4Safety principles

A QR code is applied to each hospital department storeroom, and each supplier’s fluid carton is uniquely labelled.

Using our cloud-based Pharmacy Fluids inventory management system, a product catalogue and a barcode scanning solution, every trust can now access their own online portal to view every storeroom entered, every fluid held within each hospital department, every item used, every order placed, and the capture of all products, batches and expiry in real-time.
