We are also thrilled to introduce a new Buddy Programme. We all know just how nerve-wracking those first few weeks in a new job can be. The Buddy Programme will provide an added benefit for new carers joining the Eleanor family to get to understand our ways of working and as an incentive, the nominated carer who will buddy up with the new carer will also receive a bonus payment of £150 after completing 3 months as a buddy to a new carer.

An Eleanor Buddy will guide the new starter through the first few weeks or months on the job as a carer. We will have in place a formal documented process that outlines the relevant training & responsibilities of the buddy as well as what items they should cover over the first few weeks or months of employment with the new carer, and we are confident that this will enhance the onboarding experience of not only the new carer but also help towards the professional development of the buddy carer.
