It was a wonderful day when Josie Berry one of our service user in Bexley celebrated her 100th Birthday on the 11st March 2021.

Beautiful flowers and an impressive birthday card have been prepared by our Bexley staff on the day. Her two fantastic carers have collected the gifts from the office and come together to celebrate Mrs. Josie’s 100th birthday at her home in the evening. Josie had a lovely time celebrating and sharing stories from her life with our carers.

She shared with us that she had a very special day because her grandson came to see her from the army in the morning for her birthday. Mrs. Josie is diagnosed with dementia and the fact she remembered her grandson’s visit was a joy for all of us.

Josie’s daughter called us on the next day to thank all of the office staff and carers at Bexley for their great kindness and generous gifts on her mother 100th birthday.

Congratulations Josie, we hope you had a fantastic birthday!
