“My grandad is currently at Roselands and thanks to the manager’s amazing and efficient can-do attitude, my grandma has also joined for some respite care.
The manager instantly put us at ease, was highly efficient with her communication and organisation. This is very reassuring to see such wonderful leadership and we felt our grandparents would be in very safe hands. The atmosphere is calm and has a small sense of community. Our initial impression has been very positive. The garden and views from the room are beautiful, feel special to have such a setting. It has been particularly nice to sit outside and enjoy various events. The staff have been great at welcoming my grandparents and really have helped to ease the transition. Thank you to the manager and the team”.

“As soon as I spoke to the manager of Roselands, I felt Dad would be in very safe and caring hands. A very distressing time for us was saved by the wonderful welcoming atmosphere we experienced when first walking into Roselands. The home has a light airy feel and a sense of a kind caring community can immediately be felt. It is early days yet, but our initial experience was extremely positive. The staff are very easy to communicate with and helpful in their efforts to make Dad’s first weeks as smooth as possible. Dad was being carefully listened to by attentive staff who we felt would soon get to know him as the very special individual he is. Thank you!”

“I left a review a while ago when my mother was relatively new to Roselands but now she has lived there for two years, I wanted to say how happy we still are that she is being so wonderfully cared for. I am so grateful that we were able to keep safely visiting Mum right up until the government’s rules forbade it, and that all the necessary measures were then put in place to open up to visitors again as soon as it was allowed. On my first day back they even laid on a wonderful cream tea to make it even more special! This past year must have been really challenging but all the staff are just as friendly and cheerful as ever and Mum particularly enjoys having a laugh and a joke with some of the young men on the staff! Mum also loves to keep busy and she joins in with all the activities on offer. Mum’s memory is quite poor now, but Roselands is giving her a quality of life that I really don’t think could be bettered anywhere”.
