On the outside, M Power is a stunning Victorian double-fronted house. It has a large, beautiful back garden that residents enjoy and describe as one of the key features. They are encouraged to help tend to the garden if they want to and are welcome to relax and take part in outdoor activities too.

Inside, there are 12 spacious, single bedrooms with modern decor; although residents are always encouraged to make the rooms their own and personalise their private space.

The comfortable communal areas and facilities are well maintained. There is also a spacious basement area. Residents often utilise the communal areas for therapeutic and leisure activities.

M Power residents are supported by a specialist team of care and support workers who help them to develop independent living skills. The focus is to support residents to be confident with living away from family and friends.

Residents can use a separate training kitchen to advance their cooking skills and outside, garden projects are always well received. They also have access to adult education, community groups and evening classes. During the week, there are music sessions and the Friday evening social club, where residents can relax and socialise together, is always popular.

M Power is located close to the centre of Catford in South East London. It’s a busy multi-cultural area within easy reach of theatres, shops, cinemas, cafes and parks. There are also easy access transport links to central London and the Kent countryside which our residents enjoy taking trips to.
