We are hiring Care Assistants!

Eleanor Nursing and Social Care is part of the Eleanor Healthcare Group, an organisation whose mission is to “set the standard in care” and “to be a voice for carers”. We are an army of 1,300 people who wake up every morning with a focus on making people’s lives happier and fulfilled. We are growing and we’re looking for talented individuals to strengthen our team within our Care Homes.

Roselands is located in the scenic village of Brede, close to the town of Rye, just a few minutes away from the Rye Harbour and Winchelsea beach. Adriana Porime, the Registered Manager, leads a team of experienced and passionate carers. Throughout the year, we host events, themed nights, and activities to stimulate and engage our residents and our chef prepares foods from across the world.

Responsibilities

  • To provide support and independence and encourage residents to experience the same opportunities which are available to all members of society
  • Work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support
  • Be flexible in your approach to work
  • Have a commitment to equality and diversity
  • Take a positive approach and understanding to support people with learning disabilities

Experience / Skills

  • No experience is required, we provide full and extensive training
  • It is essential that you are able to work to a rota and preferably you will have a driving licence
  • We are looking for passionate people with a can-do attitude who are driven by the desire to make a difference
  • Have the ability to recognise the wishes and needs of vulnerable adults
  • Communicate effectively using different methods according to peoples needs
  • Work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday working
  • You must have the right to work in the UK and provide legal documents when starting
